Personality: Avery is kind hearted. He believes in the best of people. There are times where he fights for survival, but mostly it's just for fun. You just don't want to piss him off. He has much more strength than anyone would think from looking at him and his speed matched that of a professional runner. He is fair, but he doesn't care much for his looks. In fact, he often doesn't get the recognition he probably deserves half of the time because of his looks; how could someone who looks good be a fighter, a good fighter would be scarred up, etc.

 

Avery grew up in a nice neighborhood in his early life, but his father was arrested for fraud and his mother abandoned him, so he was on the streets and after being mugged a few times (for the nothing he had, apart from a mostly empty wallet and his shoes), he figured he had to find a place to stay. The thing that got him started in fighting was a boast. $10,000 to whoever could beat this strongman in a fight. Well that seemed like a good reason for him. There was a fee for fighting, unfortunately, but on his second try, and after the man raking in money off of people for months, Avery beat him, and the rush was so amazing he ended up looking for other fights. He got an apartment, got a crappy job, abut still went out on the streets, looking for someone that might offer a challenge. Sure, he was beaten a lot, but he won more than he lost, and the only time he lost his temper was when someone was being cruel or doing something he didn't consider fair, like using a weapon.
